This year has taught us that momentum is built not only through speed, but through persistence, perseverance, and engaging in difficult conversations early. We've reinforced the importance of listening - across our organization and our broader ecosystem - and adapting our strategies to market and technical realities. Most significantly, we've come to understand that ideas derive their value from execution. While vision provides direction, it is through disciplined implementation and determination that we transform concepts into tangible outcomes. These principles will continue to shape our approach as we move forward together.

Our 2025 Highlights

Closing the Loop on Textiles with Odlo

We partnered with Odlo, one of the leading performance apparel brands, to pioneer a new pathway for circularity in textiles. Led by Tijana Ivanovic, our Senior Business Development Manager, this collaboration enabled us to successfully create our first textile-to-textile recycled fabric, transforming Odlo production waste into virgin-quality recycled polyester. This milestone was made possible through the support of Innosuisse, the Swiss Innovation Federal Agency, and demonstrates that our technology works seamlessly across both packaging and textile applications—one solution for two of the world's biggest plastic challenges.

Celebrating our 5th Anniversary

In 2019, during their doctoral and postdoctoral research at EPFL's Sion campus in Switzerland, our co-founders discovered a groundbreaking technology poised to transform the global plastic recycling industry.

Expanding Our Global Presence

Our team participated in 25 global events throughout the year, spanning textiles, packaging, feedstock, and sustainable investments. Through these engagements, we built valuable relationships with industry partners and significantly strengthened DePoly's presence across the waste-to-monomer value chain.

Recognition and Awards

We're honored to have received two major industry recognitions this year. DePoly earned 2nd place at the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award 2025, following our 1st place achievement in 2024. We also won the top prize in the Deep Tech/Life Sciences category at the 2025 Swiss Economic Forum Awards. We're proud to again rank among Switzerland's most promising startups.

Welcoming New Talent

We welcomed Yonghua (Rhett) Liu as Product Development Manager, bringing specialized expertise in polymerization. With extensive industry experience at leading chemical companies including Lyondellbasell, Vertellus, PolyOne, Ticona, Evonik Degussa, and Toray, Rhett strengthens our technical capabilities as we scale our operations.
